Recent excessive rainfall has caused damage to rural producers in Paraná. Last week, a single producer reported having lost five hectares of corn production due to the storms. He sent photos of the losses to Meio Rústico. The images showed that the cereal crops were covered by flooding.

The news about the flooding that ended up leaving the corn under the rain caught the attention of the Meio Rústico audience. The content on the point was the most read in the 'Culture' section of the website.

Flooding of corn fields, however, was not the only reason for Paraná to be on the list of most read stories of the week on the Meio Rústico website. The fact that storms caused at least five deaths and affected more than 30 cities in Paraná sparked the interest of the audience — as did the story related to guava produced in the north of the state.
