    Rain in the Northern Region

    In a large segment of Amapá and the extreme north of Pará, no rainfall accumulations are forecast. In other areas, the expected rainfall accumulations could remain between 20 and 50 mm.

    Thirsty weather in the Northeast

    In the Northeast Region, no rainfall is expected in a large part of the northeast of the region, with a high volume of hot and dry air.

    However, in the south-central Matopiba (Maranhao, Tocantins, Piauí and Bahia), there is forecast of accumulated rainfall that could remain between 10 and 50 mm.

    In the extreme south of Bahia, accumulations of more than 50 mm may occur and in more coastal areas of Sealba (Sergipe, Alagoas and Bahia) there may be heavy rain and low volumes, mainly at the beginning of the week.

    What is the weather forecast in the Midwest?

    In the Midwest, there is a forecast of rain in a large segment of the region, with accumulations that could remain between 20 and 60 mm, mainly in areas of south of Goiás and a half and also in the north of Mato Grosso.

    Already in a large segment of the Mato Grosso do Sul, with the exception of areas in the northwest of the state, accumulated rainfall may exceed 50 mm, particularly in areas further south of the state, where volumes exceeding 100 mm may occur.

    In other areas, rainfall accumulations of less than 20 mm are expected.

    And in the Southeast? Does it rain?

    In the Southeast Region, significant rainfall accumulations, greater than 50 mm, are forecast.

    In the west of Sao Paulo, Triângulo Mineiro and southern Minas Gerais, can exceed 80 mm.

    In a large segment of Minas Gerais, south of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro volumes of less than 40 mm are expected.

    However, in areas of northern Espírito Santo, Jequitinhonha Valley and Mucuri, rainfall volumes above 40 mm may occur.

    Lots of rain in Southern Brazil

    In the South Region, accumulated rainfall of between 20 and 50 mm is expected across a large segment of the region.

    Highlight for the middle and north of Paraná, where significant rainfall volumes are forecast that could exceed 80 mm.

    In the south-central part of Rio Grande do Sul and east of Santa Catarina, the predicted rainfall volumes will be less than 30 mm.
