    In five weeks Mato Grosso sowed 66,94 % of the 11,8 million hectares allocated for the cultivation of soy. Work on a weekly basis advanced 25,59 percentage points, according to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA). Among the seven regions, the west is the most advanced with 82,38 % of the planted soybeans.

    When compared to the same period in 2021, the sowing of the current cycle is 1,81 percentage points behind. However, it remains above da historical average of the last five years of 42,40 % for the time.

    Western region speeds up soybean planters

    The western region, one of the main regions for planting cotton in Mato Grosso, reached 82,38% of the area. A weekly increase of 27,43 percentage points.

    According to Imea, the mid-north arrived at 78,84%, with 28,48 percentage points of evolution in the week.

    Already southeast Mato Grosso arrived at 72,68 % of the area and the northwest 72,41 %, significant expansions of 27,44 percentage points and 35,14 percentage points, respectively.

    O south-central, reveals Imea, has already sown 70,74 % of your area, while the north 60,62%.

    The most cautious of all regions of Mato Grosso, northeast arrived at 31,37 % of its area designated for soybeans.
