NEW YORK – The US Virgin Islands gov is tryna get billionaire Elon Musk to hand over some docs for their lawsuit that wants to hold JPMorgan Chase responsible for sex trafficking stuff by businessman Jeffrey Epstein.

Musk ain’t been publicly accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein, who offed himself in 2019 while waiting for sex trafficking charges in a federal jail in Manhattan.
Unconfirmed Rumors About Epstein Advising Musk
But over the years, there’s been some unconfirmed rumors – egged on by Epstein himself – that Epstein had advised Musk on some biz matters.
Musk’s peeps have denied those reports, but the US Virgin Islands gov said in a court filing they think Epstein might have referred or tried to get Musk to JPMorgan as a potential client.
Virgin Islands Suing JPMorgan Over Epstein’s Actions
The Virgin Islands, where Epstein had some property, sued JPMorgan last year, sayin’ their investigation found the financial services giant let Epstein’s recruiters pay victims and was “essential to the operation and cover-up of Epstein’s trafficking enterprise.”
JPMorgan’s Lawyers Respond to Lawsuit
JPMorgan’s lawyers didn’t immediately respond to messages asking for comments on Monday.
In the past, they said the victims deserve justice, but the lawsuit tryna blame the financial institution for Epstein’s actions was legally baseless, aimed at the wrong party, and should be thrown out.
Epstein’s History of Sexual Abuse
Authorities claimed Epstein recruited and sexually abused dozens of underage girls in his mansions in New York and Palm Beach, Florida, in the early 2000s. He pleaded not guilty.
