A Secretariat of Agriculture of the Federal District (Seagri-DF) brings an important evolution for rural producers who use the Agricultural Defense Information System: the old “Sidagro Produtor” will now be “Siagro DF”. The new system can be used by interested parties from 31 October.
The transformation brings greater ease and security so that rural producers in the Federal District have access to even more services, at any time and in any place. Through the system online it is possible to declare vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease and animal rabies, adjust the herd, issue the electronic Animal Transit Guide (GTA-e) e plant transit permit (PTV), among other services.
“All this without the producer needing to go to one of the Agricultural Defense service offices,” stated Vinícius Campos, director of Agricultural Health and Inspection at Seagri-DF.
Another improvement, according to the deputy undersecretary of Agricultural Defense at Seagri-DF, Marco Antônio Martins, is that the implemented system represents a significant cost reduction.
“Unlike Sidagro, which was an external, paid system, in the case of Siagro DF, the source code was provided by AgroDefesa, from Goiás, through Technical Cooperation, for use by Seagri. This implies considerable savings in resources, reflected in the reduction of public spending”, explained Martins.
Another advantage is that Siagro DF will allow, in a second stage, the management of information from different activities of the Agricultural Defense, such as animal and plant inspection, pesticide inspection, plant and animal health and traffic inspection. “This is not the case today. When inspection data is soon inserted into the online system, Seagri will be able to monitor and evaluate the activities of the Agricultural Defense Service better and more quickly,” added Marco Antônio Martins.
According to Vinícius Campos, the expectation of producers adopting the new online system is quite positive. “Siagro DF is quite intuitive and similar to the previous system. Therefore, we believe that rural producers will have no major problems using this new tool,” he stated. “And, should they encounter any difficulties, we at Agricultural Defense will be available to provide any necessary clarifications,” added the director of Seagri-DF.
How to use the system
To use the new Agricultural Defense Information System, the interested party must:
- Access the link from Siagro DF,
- Type the CPF field "User",
- Write, in “Password"Withme first name, followed by the CPF (without space).
- Click in "Get in" and have access to the system.
