The month of November will debut with intense and atypical insensitivity in four regions of Brazil.
The sudden drop in temperatures will occur due to the passage of a cold front followed by a powerful volume of air of polar origin.
Already on Monday (31) morning, the insensitive will hit Rio Grande do Sul and section of Santa Catarina and, until the end of the day, it will proceed throughout the entire territory of Santa Catarina.
Also affected will be the Paraná, the south-central part of Mato Grosso do Sul and the section of São Paulo.
The forecast indicates, at the beginning of next week, a drop of around 15°C in the South Region.
Between Monday night (31) and Tuesday morning (1st), there is also a small possibility of snow between the Southern Plateau of Santa Catarina and the Aparados da Serra region, in Rio Grande do Sul.
The volume of insensitive air will continue to move towards the Southeast, Central-West and North of the country between Monday and Tuesday.
The south of the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Goiás and Amazonas will also record low temperatures, as will the whole of Rio de Janeiro.
The volume of cold air is expected to affect Brazil until the end of the week, with the possibility of negative temperatures and frost until Thursday (3), mainly in the highest areas of the South Region.
