In combination with the commentator of Crops & Market Fernando Henrique Iglesias the surrounding continues to be guided by the comfort of slaughter scales. Many industries remain absent from the purchase of herds, still evaluating the best strategies for obtaining cattle in the short term.

“A changing profile of Chinese importers is a preponderant factor in understanding the current situation. The prices of beef sold in Brazil are falling, a situation that means the meatpacking industry is unable to pay more for the arroba prices to cattle ranchers,” says Iglesias.

Thus, in São Paulo (SP), the reference for the price of beef was £ 284. In Dourados (MS), the price fell to R$ 265.

At the same time, in Cuiabá (MT), the price of beef cattle ended the day at 253 BRL. Simultaneously, in Uberaba (MG), prices were at 282 BRL.

In Goiânia (GO), the arroba continued to be quoted at £ 255.

    Beef: wholesale market

The wholesale market for beef cattle had weakened prices.

In combination with Iglesias, the business environment suggests permanence of this movement, considering the slow replacement between wholesale and retail during the second half of the month

Therefore, the front quarter was priced at 16 BRL per kilo.  The needle tip was priced at £ 15,80.

Finally, the hindquarter of the ox fell and was priced at 21,20 BRL per kilo.
