This past week was marked by a small respite from the heavy rainfall that had been hitting southern Brazil. As a result, soybean planting work was able to proceed at a faster pace. In Paraná, for example, sowing already reaches 44% of the area.
However, this weekend, a new cold front is expected to form, which should bring humidity back to the states in the region.
Thus, until November 2, the volume of precipitation may exceed 100 mm in Paraná, south of the state of São Paulo, as well as around 50 mm in Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso. In Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, up to 30 mm are expected in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
From then on, until the 7th of next month, the rain will be more concentrated in the northern part of the country and less in the south. The highlight is the west of Bahia, with accumulations of 70mm.
