Cunha highlights that more than 80% of the cereal planted in the region is intended à second bile.

“This year, with the high cost of production, producers do not want to take too many risks in the second harvest. In the last two years, we have had climate problems, and in addition to this, there is the leafhopper, which has also caused serious losses,” says the producer from Minas Gerais.
São Paulo expects 190 bags per hectare
Em Itabera, In the interior of São Paulo, producer Bernhard Kiep reveals that he will plant 200 hectares of corn. According to him, the expectation is that the 150 bags of cereal harvested in the last cycle in the first harvest will be surpassed and reach the mark of 180 to 190 bags per hectare.
