    Ad

If you need to consult or issue your CURP (Unique Population Registry Code) without paying anything, follow this simple and detailed guide carefully. The whole process can be done in a few minutes, even if you have never visited the site before.

    1. Have your personal data at hand

Before you begin, make sure you have the following information:

    • Full name (no abbreviations)
    • Date of birth (day, month and year)
    • Sex (male or female)
    • State (federative entity) where you were born

This data is essential to locate your CURP correctly in the official system.

    2. Access the official website of the Mexican government

To withdraw your CURP, enter the CURP portal maintained by RENAPO – National Población Registry. You can do this from any device with internet, such as a computer, cell phone or tablet.

    3. Choose the type of query

On the home page, the system offers two options:

    • Consultation with CURP: If you already know your CURP and just want to generate or update the document.
    • Consultation with personal data: If you do not know the CURP number, select this option and fill in the requested fields.

In this case, choose the personal data query.

    4. Fill in the required fields carefully

    Type correctly:

    • Your full name (without accents or special characters)
    • Your date of birth
    • Sex as recorded
    • The Mexican state where you were born

Avoid typing errors, as any incorrect data may prevent your record from being located.

    5. Check the checkbox

Confirm that you are not a robot by checking the security box (captcha), if it appears. This step is mandatory to ensure the proper functioning of the system.

    6. Click the search button

After entering your details, click on "Search" ou "Consult". The system will process the information and, if everything is correct, it will display your CURP on the screen.

    7. Check the displayed data

The CURP will be displayed with all your associated personal data, such as full name, date of birth, place of birth and gender. Check that everything is correct.

    8. Generate your CURP PDF

Just below the data, the website will offer the option to download the CURP in PDF. Click the button to save the file to your device. This version will already be updated and ready for official use.

    9. Print your CURP (optional)

If you need a physical copy, open the PDF file and print it on A4 paper, in good quality. This printed version is accepted in schools, government agencies, clinics, banks and many other places.

    10. All set!

You have successfully completed the process and without paying absolutely nothing. Your CURP is up to date, valid and available whenever you need it. Keep the file in a safe place.
